What makes you excited to wake up and come to work?
Building a great company that our staff love to work at and clients love to deal with.

If you could have dinner with anyone from the past or present, who would it be and why?
Nicola Tesla - he was a geek's geek. Where did all of those ideas and that innovation come from?

What is your favorite thing about working in the AV/Technology Industry? I love that technology solves human challenges... and, because it's always changing, it means that new solutions to existing problems get created every day. It's our job to understand its' application.

If you could have dinner with anyone from the past or present, who would it be and why? As cliche as this sounds, I would probably have to choose Elon Musk. I really appreciate the way he creates audacious goals for his companies, then finds practical ways to be viable as they inch towards them.

If you could have dinner with anyone from the past or present, who would it be and why? There would be many depending on what aspect of my life they impact. Overall, I would say Jeff Wiener of LinkedIn as I am attentive and intrigued on his vision on compassionate leadership.

If you could have dinner with anyone from the past or present, who would it be and why? There are so many people I would love to meet but to pick just one, I would choose Steve Jobs. As someone that has upended so many industries and dominated them, Jobs would be a fascinating dinner companion. I would learn a lot.

What makes you excited to wake up and come to work? I am excited every day to come to work and try and make Genesis a better company than it was the day before. Like so many other things in life, there is no such thing as perfection in a business. There is always room for improvement and that is the challenge that gets me out of bed in the morning.

If you could have dinner with anyone from the past or present, who would it be and why? Neil Armstrong. I think it would be fascinating to learn from him what it was like to be the first person to walk on the moon.

If you could have dinner with anyone from the past or present, who would it be and why? I would like to have dinner with my father. Due to the fact he passed away when I was very young, I really don’t know him. I would like to spend the time to get to know him.

If you could have dinner with anyone from the past or present, who would it be and why? My Wife. She is my best friend and confidant and tells me like it is. I learn from her every day and her confidence in me allows me to believe I can achieve any of the goals I set for myself.

If you could have dinner with anyone from the past or present, who would it be and why? My grandmother on my father's side. She actually road in wagon trains coming to Canada. This person had so much influence for me and died when I was too young to fully understand everything she did and stood for.
